Kristie999: I was in a huge hurry and I didn’t check a label for a bottle of curry sauce. When I got home and unpacked my stuff I realized it had milk in it (GAH!!). If it had animal stock or actual meat I’d donate it or toss it, but since it was milk I kept it and have used it. My issue is that I feel slightly guilty about it but I also don’t want to be wasteful. WWYD?
pistaschiorose: I would give it away, BUT: A while ago I ran into a Starbucks right before close for a latte to help me with late-night studying. I paid and then didn’t realize until I had it in my hand that I’d forgotten the soy part. Then I took it home and tried to make my roommate take it but he didn’t want it, so I drank it myself (I didn’t want to waste it). It was a traumatic and nauseating experience, and I felt sick after. In a way, it was a punishment for my mistake. And I haven’t come close to repeating that mistake since.
