"A team of British doctors gave a health questionnaire to 40 vegan women and 40 women who were ‘omnivores,’ people who do not limit their food choice. The vegans had better skin, stronger hearts, fewer days of illness per year, better hearing and sight, stronger lungs, better digestion, less joint and muscular pain, steadier nerves, less fatigue and less anger and tension. … A report in the journal New Scientist says, ‘We are being forced to conclude that these people (vegans) are able to manufacture and absorb their own B-12 in the gut."
